    An independent, co-educational school for around 200 children aged 3-19 with a pupil-teacher ratio of around 8:1. The school teaches International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in Years 12 and 13 alongside a mixture of GCSEs and IGCSEs in Year 9-11. The student population comprises 80% students from the UK along with 20% from international backgrounds. EAL (English as an Additional Language) is provided and included in the fee as part of the regular curriculum at either GCSE, pre-IB or IB level. Extra EAL tuition is available if required, with costs depending on the size of the group being taught.


    Westbourne School is in Penarth, a suburb of Cardiff. Cardiff airport, the nearest international airport, is just 11 miles away with connections to Amsterdam, Paris, Munich and Milan.
