KEY INFORMATION: By working closely with our partner Medical Schools, they have developed specific modules and specialised support for students who want to access Medical degrees The Kings Medical Foundation is based on A-level syllabuses, taught by A-level teachers, assessed against A-levels and moderated by an independent Advisory Board of external examiners. As such, it is one of the most highly academic and successful pathways to leading medicine in UK universities. The number of pupils varies by college, with an average 70 students on Foundation courses. There are approximately 10 students on the Medical Foundation in each college. Number of international students: All students on this course are international as it is designed specifically for this demographic The Kings Medical Foundation is assessed assured by Pearson (owners of Edexcel exam board). Standards for the Programme are set by an external and independent Advisory Board which meets three times each year to ensure best practice, moderate marks where required and hear appeals. Dietary options provided: Yes. They cater for all dietary requirements and send questionnaires before students join our boarding Details of EAL provision: Kings provide a full range of English courses – both EFL and academic preparation. Specifically for this course, students can join our Extended Foundation.
