A DAY IN THE LIFE OF...
‘I learnt how to study here, not just in terms of learning about subjects, but also about Teamwork and spending my time efficiently. I became a more independent learner, if I am curious I do research and think about it, which will be absolutely essential in the future.Whenever I had a questions that I could not find the answer to on my own, teachers helped me by explaining it until I did. Cambridge is a good place to study. The city is quiet and peaceful, you are also motivated by the colleges of the University of Cambridge and the intelligent students here.” Haedam - Korea Studied at: University of Oxford
“I like that I am able to focus on the subjects that interest me, and which will be useful for my future studies. The teacher’s aim is your success, and you really feel their passion for their subjects. Our economics teacher made an extra economics club focusing on strategies for achieving the best grades in our exam. There are also lots of clubs and evening activities, I found the ‘meet the economics examiner’ session most useful as it made my exams clearer.Studying in Cambridge is an amazing opportunity. The atmosphere of the city motivates you to pursue your goals. I want to combine work and study, and start to build my future economist career from the beginning of my university studies. My main goal is to influence my country’s economy and help its growth and development.” Yulia - Ukraine Studied at: University of Bristol
"Everyone was very welcoming, which was great because it was my first time studying overseas. Studying here has made me more independent. Teachers made it clear that just doing class work and home work was not enough, and independence I learned will aid me at university.Cambridge is very peaceful, it feels like a big library full of knowledge, which is great for a student who wants to discover new things. I even enjoyed the weather!”www.abbeycambridge.co.uk Christian - Malaysia Studied at: University of Manchester
