HISTORY:
Abbey College Manchester was founded in 1990 and is part of the Alpha Plus Group of independent schools and colleges.Since its foundation Abbey College Manchester has become one of the leading providers of independent education in Greater Manchester. We have developed and maintained an outstanding record of academic success, and have a strong reputation locally, nationally and globally for high quality teaching, very small class sizes and a strong tutor and welfare system.
ENGLISH SUPPORT:
The teaching focuses on examination success. They achieve this through the acquisition of knowledge, examination technique and thinking skills. The teachers made the classes enjoyable and they were very interactive. Having small class sizes helped my confidence and communication skills. I got really good help and when preparing my university application and did well in my examinations and managed to get to the university and onto the course I really wanted.
