The school day for boarders starts with breakfast from 7.30am and lessons start at 8.45am. There are 6 x 50 minute lessons each week day and every afternoon after lessons there are sports and activities which finish at around 5.30pm. There is a formal prep time in the boarding houses each evening from 7 – 9pm. Bed times are from 9pm – 11pm depending on the age of the pupils.
Lord Wandsworth offers more than 40 different activities and sports so there is always something appealing to all different types of pupils. On Saturdays things are less formal there are no lessons but there are two activity sessions or academic clinics and extra EAL followed by sports in the afternoon and evening entertainment for the boarders.
Sundays is for relaxing and going out on trips; the College's location means that pupils can visit lots of different and interesting places, London, Oxford, Windsor, Bath, Brighton, Winchester to name a few. There are also activities such as; go-karting, trampolining, skating, bowling and the cinema.

Studying and living at Lord Wandsworth College is wonderful because as an international student whose first language is not English, doing things together with all the students and staff has helped me break through the fear of making mistakes to communicate with others. I really feel part of LWC as everyone at the College is incredibly friendly.
Additionally, I am also a full boarder which gives me a fabulous opportunity to enjoy the weekend in House, with lots of different activities to keep myself busy. My favourite part of being a full boarder is that we are given the chance to go to different cities at the weekend, such as Brighton and Oxford, which is such a treat for international students.
As an Art Scholar and a keen musician, I feel really appreciated when asked to perform in the wide-ranging events at LWC. For example, the Cotterill Cup provided a platform to increase my keyboard confidence and the art exhibitions promote my motivation and enthusiasm to keep exploring the world of art.
Furthermore, I will be entering the Sixth Form in September and I believe that LWC will offer me a sound and solid preparation for University.
