HISTORY:
Originally two schools, The Royal School, founded in 1865 with a little help from Queen Victoria and Florence Nightingale, and Bath High School, founded in 1875 as one of the first Girls' Day School Trust school outside London, our school is a mixture of these two outstanding independent girls’ schools merging back in 1998. We are hugely proud of our heritage and illustrious history with every student, teacher, parent, patron and supporter having played a key role in shaping who we are today - a school providing pioneering, first-class education to girls.

We offer a full programme of extra-curricular activities from music, to sport, art and more. In addition, our boarders enjoy a packed programme of weekend activities, where we encourage girls to have fun, build friendships and try new experiences. Activities are varied, from pizza parties and white water rafting to visiting Harry Potter World, shopping trips and much more.
