Additionally, the programme is now taught at 10 other partner schools globally. Whilst studying for their UFP, all pupils at Brooke House College also have academic and career guidance and a personal academic tutor together with support in their (UCAS) university application as well as international applications with SAT preparation. Other pre-university tests such as BMAT, LNAT, UCAT etc. are also offered within the careers and higher education curriculum.
All Courses, Boarding Students-Full Fees per year £37,500.00
per term £12,500.00
Within the programme there are two mandatory subjects, Core Mathematics and Communication Skills/English. All international pupils wishing to apply for a UK university place also have IELTS lessons until they have reached at least 6.5 or the level needed for their specific university entry requirements.
The University Foundation Programme is usually studied over one academic year (a two-year programme is available – more specifically for pupils whose English is some way off the traditional 6.5 mark required for university entry). The one-year course has two intakes in September and January and offers a wide-ranging subject choice giving pupils the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in specific subject areas; e.g. Business, Law, Finance, Economics, Medicine, Architecture, Sport, Sciences for Nursing, Art and Design, Mathematics and Physics and Computing.
The University Foundation Programme has recognised progression pathways to a large number of universities in the UK, and increasingly to more international overseas. With university accreditation, this qualification will allow pupils to gain access to appropriate degree level programmes.
