History NCUK has a rich history dating back to 1987 when a consortium of universities in the north of England universities formed a steering group to create pathways for international students to study in the UK. Recognising the challenges of traditional routes, they developed a successful pathway program that allowed international students to attend leading UK universities. In 1993, the consortium registered the Northern Consortium charity with NCUK being established in 2003 as a subsidiary to continue providing access to quality education. NCUK has supported over 50,000 students in progressing to prestigious universities worldwide through their pre-university and degree pathway qualifications.

English Support NCUK qualifications and services are delivered by educational institutions, known as Study Centres, which provide teaching and university progression services. All Study Centres undertake a rigorous accreditation process that guarantees NCUK’s high academic standards, ensuring quality and consistency in programme delivery worldwide. These Study Centres enable students to attain their qualification and gain entry to NCUK University Partners in the UK, USA, New Zealand, Australia, Canada and more.Our portfolio of qualifications includes: - International Foundation Year - International Year One (Diploma Level 4/60 ECTS Credits) - International Year One in Accounting and Finance - International Year One in Business Management - International Year One in Events Management - International Year One in Law - International Year One in Electrical and Electronic Engineering - International Year Two in Business Management (Diploma Level 5/60 ECTS Credits) - Masters Preparation

Alumni Success - Victoria Victoria, why did you choose to study with NCUK? I chose to study with NCUK because it provided me with the opportunity to study abroad and have guaranteed access to prestigious universities around the world. How has your NCUK experience helped you to get to where you are today? At NCUK I was academically prepared throughout the year in order to have a smooth transition not only from “school” to “university”, but also from my home country to the rest of the world.What are your goals for the future? I’d like to do music for films. I believe everything needs sound, and when you watch a movie the music or sound you hear can impact the way you perceive the story. My goal is to create a soundtrack that everyone recognises without even watching the movie. Do you have any advice for future NCUK students? You may feel like this is a very difficult decision to make, and it is indeed, but NCUK will always be there to support you through the entire process. Don’t be scared to ask questions because everyone at NCUK will always be glad to help you out. There is no wrong or incorrect question, so don’t be ashamed to ask the team. -
